Obergeist: Ragnarok Highway #3

The third chapter of this six-part Image/Top Cow series arrives with a cover by Tony Harris that is genuinely hard to look away from — a pale, imposing figure looms forward, his body covered head to toe in the word "GUILT" rendered in dark, blood-traced script, his glowing red eyes staring out from beneath a shadowy void. Harris's painted style gives the image a visceral, almost watercolor quality that sets Obergeist: Ragnarok Highway apart from the superhero crowd. With Dan Jolley writing and Matt Hollingsworth's moody colors throughout, this 2001 series was doing something distinctly unsettling.
