The New 52 launches O.M.A.C. with a fist aimed straight at the reader — the massive, mohawked powerhouse dominating this cover by Keith Giffen and Scott Koblish looks like he's burst through a wall of rubble and bodies, crackling energy swirling behind him in a vivid burst of blue and white. Written by Dan DiDio and Keith Giffen, this 2011 series brings the One Man Army Corps roaring into DC's relaunched universe with obvious Kirby-flavored energy and a gleeful sense of scale. At $2.99, it's a confident, visually punchy opener for one of the New 52's more delightfully offbeat titles.
