Nyoka the Jungle Girl #23

Nyoka finds herself caught between two prowling tigers on this September 1948 Fawcett cover, kicking free from the massive predator lunging at her while a second closes in from below — it's a tense, beautifully rendered scene by cover artist Bert Whitman that captures Nyoka's fearless spirit perfectly. The promised story, "Danger in Duplicate," suggests the double trouble on the cover is just the beginning of what writer Rod Reed has in store.
