Nutsy Squirrel is in fine form on this charming 1957 — wait, this delightful 1955 DC funny-animal outing, where the lovable squirrel busily knits what he hopes will be a sweater to keep his snowman "nice and warm," blissfully unaware of the obvious flaw in that plan. A wide-eyed rabbit pal in a red plaid jacket looks on with bemused astonishment as the snowman sits between them, sporting a jaunty top hat and carrot nose. Rube Grossman's warm, expressive linework gives the whole scene an irresistibly cozy absurdity that makes this ten-cent gem a genuine treat for fans of classic comic humor.
