Northanger Abbey #1
In this fresh take on Jane Austen’s classic, Catherine Morland steps into the world of Bath society with wide-eyed wonder, accompanied by her well-meaning neighbor Mrs. Allen. As she navigates new friendships and flirtations—especially with the enigmatic clergyman Mr. Tilney—her quiet curiosity sets the stage for a story rich with charm and subtle tension. Written by Jane Austen and Nancy Butler, with art by Janet K. Lee and colors by Nick Filardi, this first issue features a striking cover by Julian Totino Tedesco.

Catherine Morland takes the pleasant opportunity to travel to Bath as companion to her wealthy neighbor, Mrs. Allen. She is captivated by this introduction to society and meets Isabella Thorpe, who shares many of her interests, and Isabella's brother John, who is a friend of her own brother James. However, it is the charming (but elusive) clergyman Mr. Tilney who intrigues Catherine the most.
