The cover of No/One #3 evokes a late-night noir atmosphere straight out of Edward Hopper's playbook — two figures sit in conversation inside a warmly lit diner, while outside in the darkened street, an ominous shadowy figure looms against the storefront glass. The contrast between that intimate interior glow and the threatening presence lurking just beyond the window gives this Image series a genuinely unsettling edge. Higgins, Buccellato, Borges, Englert, and Otsmane-Elhaou are clearly building something with real mood and craft.
