Alex de Campi, Carla Speed McNeil, and Jenn Manley Lee's survival series delivers its eleventh chapter with a cover that's equal parts pop-art grid and deadpan humor — three young characters, including a cool-shaded figure in purple sunglasses and a smirking blond, share panel space with an utterly unruffled chicken. The four-square layout, each portrait set against a different flat color, gives the whole thing a wry, almost yearbook energy that's a little funny and a little unsettling. No Mercy has always kept readers guessing about who's in danger next, and this issue's cover does nothing to put you at ease.
