The cover of this June 1998 DC miniseries installment says it all: Nightwing and Huntress are tangled in a fierce mid-air clash above a crimson cityscape, her cable whipping around him as the two Gotham vigilantes square off in spectacular fashion. Greg Land's pencils and Bill Sienkiewicz's inks give the confrontation a kinetic, almost breathless energy — these are two skilled fighters who clearly know each other's moves all too well.
