Nightwing #5
Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Nightwing #5 (2012) arrives with a genuinely unsettling cover by Eddy Barrows — a massive, white-haired demonic figure dominates the composition, its gaping maw wide enough to swallow both Nightwing and a red-clad woman clutched helplessly within its jaws. The story title "'Til Death Do Us Part" pairs perfectly with the cover's ominous subtitle "Unholy Matrimony," hinting at a dark, twisted union that puts Dick Grayson in serious peril. Kyle Higgins and his creative team were clearly firing on all cylinders this issue, delivering a cover that grabs attention and doesn't let go.
