Peter was desperate to inherit his rich uncle's will. One day Peter accompanied his uncle out to the desert to look for a mine. When they reached an oasis, Peter killed his uncle leaving his corpse to rot in the water. Peter kept his journey across the desert but every time he came to an oasis, his decaying uncle's corpse was there polluting the water. Peter managed to make it to an oasis before his shambling dead uncle could, and was able to make it back to camp. He then found himself decaying. He realized his uncle had leprosy and by drinking from his canteen, he contracted the disease to!
