Night Club #4

A morgue stretching deep into the background — rows of sheet-draped bodies on steel tables — sets a genuinely unsettling stage for this fourth chapter of Mark Millar and Juanan Ramírez's vampire series from Image. Dominating the foreground is a masked, costumed figure laid out on a slab, bloodied and apparently lifeless, their star-adorned mask still vivid against the cold fluorescent light. Matteo Scalera's cover composition pulls the eye downward with an almost vertiginous fish-eye perspective, making this one of the more viscerally striking installments of the series so far.
