“Infinity's Not Forever”

This December 1991 issue teams Nick Fury with the cyborg warrior Deathlok, and the cover by Ernie Stiner and Don Hudson makes the pairing feel like a genuinely exciting match — the two are shown back-to-back, guns blazing, pushing forward against a horned, shadowy demonic figure surrounded by writhing serpents and dark, clawed forms. Fury's trademark eyepatch and determined expression anchor the right side of the composition, while Deathlok's striking red-and-yellow armored frame and heavy firepower dominate the center, with a smaller figure visible in the upper-left corner adding further depth to the threat. Titled "Infinity's Not Forever," this is a satisfying slice of early-'90s Marvel espionage action with a supernatural edge.
