As the new White King of the Hellfire Club, Magneto discusses allying himself and his students, the New Mutants, with their former enemies. Meanwhile, the kids are upstairs and already nervous about sitting in the midst of the lion's den when they are attacked by mysterious soldiers. Magma and Doug are captured and taken back to Nova Roma. Selene vows to get her granddaughter back and takes Sam, Dani and Illyana with her. Magma and Doug are brought in chains before the new ruler of Nova Roma, the Red Skull.
