Charlton's "Master of Wind, Rain and Fire" takes center stage in this 1956 issue, with Nature Boy soaring dynamically above churning ocean waves in his bold yellow costume, arms outstretched as he commands the elements. Below him, a trident-crowned sea king and a golden-headbanded woman look on from the water — a striking tableau that hints at mythic stakes within. Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio's cover art brings real energy to the scene, and with Joe Gill scripting and Sal Trapani inking the interior, this is a fine example of mid-1950s Charlton superhero storytelling at its most adventurous.
