Nature Man (apparently a future story of Nature Boy when he becomes an adult)

When a lightning strike unleashes a catastrophic flood toward an unsuspecting town, a mysterious stranger reveals himself to be Nature Man—a hero whose communion with the forces of nature gives him the power to call upon the earth itself in humanity's darkest hour. As tons of rampaging water bear down on the city and its terrified residents, Nature Man must use his unique bond with the natural world to prevent total annihilation. This 1956 tale captures the heart of what makes Nature Boy grow into Nature Man: a spirit so attuned to nature's power that even the earth will answer his call for help.
