Namor: Conquered Shores #3

Part three of "Conquered Shores" finds Namor crouched in quiet contemplation, face-to-face with a massive, overgrown stone head — its weathered features and glowing eyes hinting at civilizations lost and perhaps not entirely dormant — against a sky burning with crimson and violet. Pasqual Ferry's cover work gives the Sub-Mariner an unusually somber, reflective quality, a king surveying ruins rather than commanding seas, with distant crumbling towers visible on the horizon. Christopher Cantwell and Ferry's 2023 series continues to promise something thoughtful and a little haunting about Namor's world and what remains of it.
