A yellow school bus takes on a deeply sinister edge in this 2015 Image horror series, with a glowering, red-eyed figure gripping the steering wheel from behind the windshield while a group of unsuspecting kids lingers at the front of the bus, blissfully unaware of the menace looming above them. The contrast between the ordinary — headphones, backpacks, a casual conversation — and that lurking, predatory stare makes for a wonderfully unsettling cover composition by Mike Henderson. Joshua Williamson and Henderson continue to wring genuine dread out of small-town evil, and this issue looks like no exception.
