“Quiet Finale”

Raven Darkholme — alias Mystique — stares out from a wanted poster framing on this cover by Mike Mayhew, her blue skin and red hair unmistakable as she holds a pistol with cool confidence in a sleek black leather coat. It's a striking visual concept: Interpol has named her a fugitive, yet she poses as though completely unbothered by the heat. This is the fifth and final chapter of "Quiet," wrapping up Sean McKeever's run on the series with the kind of stylish tension that defined this title throughout 2005.
