“Trouble in Paradise”

A terrified astronaut in a yellow spacesuit tumbles helplessly through the void, swarmed on all sides by a horde of grinning, horned red gremlins — with a spacecraft visible in the background and no escape in sight. Joe Kubert's cover art crackles with dread, perfectly capturing the promise of "25 astounding all-new pages of interstellar suspense." DC's Mystery in Space #113 is a fine showcase of 1980 sci-fi anthology thrills, with interior work by Michael Golden and Bob Wiacek adding even more reason to dive in.
