"The Spotted Killer" starring Zudo follows the jungle hero as he confronts a spotted leopard killer and battles a cruel master who enslaves villagers and threatens to burn the jungle. Lance Lewis faces off against criminals in a vehicle chase sequence, where he pursues masked gunmen and ultimately overwhelms the gang in a climactic battle. The issue includes additional superhero adventures as indicated by the cover's feature of Brad Spencer as Wonderman and other heroes including The Magnet, King of Futuria, and Jungle Boy.
When a hardened mobster named Furey rejoins his old gang, they hatch a scheme to pull off a string of robberies while simultaneously framing the Magnet—the mysterious vigilante whose uncanny ability to identify criminals has made him a thorn in their side. Trading their guns for ghostly costumes and a movie projector, the gang masquerades as the supernatural Hooded Horsemen, staging elaborate crimes designed to turn Inspector Spagle's suspicion away from the real killers and onto Grant Halford himself. As the Magnet races to clear his name and stop the hooded criminals before another robbery strikes, he discovers that Furey's plan runs far deeper than simple extortion.
