A woman pursues a man named Dan across the city by taxi and train, her nerves frayed by his indifference. When she finally catches up to him at a station, she discovers he is a photographer who has been hired by Mr. Farrell, a talent agent, to photograph her for a comedy film role. Realizing Dan's coolness stemmed from his professional distance, the woman and Dan are paired as a romantic team for the picture, and they ultimately fall in love both on and off screen, with the story ending as they declare themselves "Mr. and Mrs. Romance." The narrative interweaves scenes of their professional collaboration with their growing personal affection, culminating in their commitment to each other.

Margie Cummings has always been afraid—of animals, of men, of heights—but when she literally collides with Roger Brill at an airport during a weather delay, something magical clicks between them, and she finds herself saying yes to dinner despite her fears. As they share an unexpected evening together, talking and dancing while grounded, both sense they've found something fated, something perfect. But when their plane takes off for San Francisco, Roger's paralyzing fear of flying threatens to shatter the connection they've built—forcing Margie to confront whether love can survive the flaws that scare her most.

Hollywood Sweethearts
8 pp · Romance

Desperate to escape the Hollywood grind, young actress Susie Jones nearly walks away from her dreams—until her conniving agent Stutz hatches a scheme to make her and fellow hopeful Dan Dexter the country's most glamorous "romance," manufactured through constant publicity stunts and staged photo opportunities. As Susie and Dan perform their roles as love's young dream for photographers and magazines, something unexpected begins to happen between the two actors who started out loathing each other.

To Find a Man -- Be Popular with Girls!

Heart of a Clown!
6 pp · Romance

Dodie Wilson built her career as a comedic performer to escape a lonely childhood, becoming a successful stage and television star—but her clown persona has completely overshadowed her real self, leaving Phil Fraser, her theatrical agent, unable to see her as anything but a funny act. When she finally works up the courage to show him her feminine side and hint at deeper feelings, he dismisses it all as more comedy, leaving her to make an impossible choice between the spotlight and a chance at genuine love.
