Ann becomes engaged to co-worker Ron, but is embarrassed by his “dog-like devotion” and constant presents. Ann goes to a party with reporter Bill but Jack doesn’t act jealous or upset, so Ann breaks up with him and starts to date Bill. However, she realises she still loves Ron, who’s now going out with someone else. In the end, Ron and Ann get back together.
