In "Sweet Jessica in Oh, Doctor," Jessica visits a physician who gives her earplugs to reduce noise, but she accidentally inserts plugs from two different radios into her ears simultaneously, causing her to hear conflicting music that the frustrated doctor must sort out. The issue concludes with a story in which Margie's father encounters a cat in the house and, after Margie explains all the fish and damage the cat has caused, decides to allow it to stay as long as it behaves better, ultimately accepting four musical sniffles and a drip as an acceptable jazz band.
