The issue contains two stories. In "Too Many Cooks," Margie attempts to impress her father by preparing dinner herself, but he insists on taking her to a restaurant instead, disappointing her cooking ambitions. In the second story, Margie encounters a fortune teller named Jessica who predicts that a woman will arrive claiming to be Alice, an old acquaintance; Margie becomes suspicious when a woman matching the description appears, and after the fortune teller remarks that Margie has changed, Margie discovers the woman has also undergone dramatic physical changes (different hair color, eye color, and legs), leading to confusion about the newcomer's true identity.
