My Little Margie #30

My Little Margie #30 contains two stories. "A Knight on Horseback" follows Mr. Howell's struggle to afford a horse his son Dave wants to buy for use in a school play; after his wife persuades him, Mr. Howell agrees to purchase the horse for twelve dollars per month. In the "My Little Margie" story, Margie uses powder to make Tommy sneeze repeatedly as a prank, and when confronted about what she was doing, she claims she merely wanted to check if the air was securely on, resulting in Tommy's embarrassed response.
