Later, while trying on a gorgeous gown for an upcoming party, Margie realizes she's running late and rushes to get ready. At the party, her exuberant dancing causes a chair to break and leads to a chaotic fight scene, during which she's arrested by police; however, she's released when it's revealed that her niece Monie helped the police capture a crook, earning Margie her freedom.
