In this issue, Margie's father Vern reminds her of her late second husband George and the suit he wore for fifteen years, prompting memories of dressing a poor boy in a tuxedo to look more alive. Meanwhile, Margie attempts to matchmake between her father and their housekeeper Mrs. Odette by arranging spring cleaning and a romantic outing, but her schemes backfire when a young man named Freddie F. arrives on the scene. When Margie tries to make Freddie jealous by flirting with Mr. Rock, her mischief ultimately results in chaos as multiple romantic misunderstandings ensue. The story concludes with Harry finally answering a ringing telephone amid the comedic confusion.
