The story deepens character development and sets up future conflicts in the series.
In "Day Two," Izuku races through the forest, driven by urgency as Bakugo becomes the target of the Vanguard Action Squad. His path is blocked by Tokoyama, whose spirit beast—unraveled by the encroaching darkness—is spiraling out of control, threatening to unleash chaos of its own. Written by Kōhei Horikoshi and Caleb Cook, with art by Horikoshi and inks by a team including Fujiya, Ikeda, and Fushimi, this issue captures the escalating tension of the battle for survival. The cover, by Horikoshi, sets the tone with a striking image of the storm gathering around the heroes.
