My Greatest Adventure #53

From DC's My Greatest Adventure comes issue #53, cover-dated March 1961, with a premise that practically leaps off the page: a hapless human man caught between two warring alien creatures, thinking to himself, "I'm being forced to judge this battle — but no matter who wins, I'm doomed!" The cover, penciled by Dick Dillin and inked by Sheldon Moldoff, vividly renders the confrontation — a muscular red horned alien looming over a fallen yellow-and-purple creature while the terrified referee backs away.
