Bud Fisher's beloved odd-couple duo is up to their usual mischief in this 1965 Harvey Comics entry, themed around "Toyland." The cover says it all: the tall, grinning Mutt is wedged inside a giant red punching-bag bop toy, bouncing back at a startled Jeff while a dapper, top-hatted little gentleman gets knocked clean off his feet — hats flying everywhere. It's the kind of cheerful, slapstick energy that made Mutt and Jeff a staple of funny-book shelves for decades.
