There's something endearingly relatable about this October 1961 Harvey Comics cover, where the tall, mustachioed Jeff stands soaking wet in a torrential downpour while the shorter Mutt blissfully snoozes under a tiny pup tent — his bare feet sticking out one end, completely oblivious to the flooding around him. The gag practically tells itself, and that "ZZZ"-emblazoned tent is a perfect encapsulation of the duo's mismatched dynamic.
