The man's repeated attempts to dry Muggsy's wet clothes by heating the car cause it to roll downhill, and during the ensuing mayhem involving a horse and various mishaps, Muggsy continues to wreak havoc with his musical incompetence throughout the story.
Muggsy Mouse trades his screechy harmonica for a tuba to prove he can play music—but his ambitious jam session with a remote-control radio quickly spirals into chaos when his performance lands on the airwaves. When a live "Crime Grocer" radio serial plays alongside his tuba solo, the results are decidedly disastrous for everyone within earshot, especially his long-suffering friend Jumpy.
Muggsy Mouse enters a kite-flying contest with his proudest creation—a kite shaped like a piece of cheese—only to be laughed out by the judges, but his unconventional entry soon catches the attention of bank robbers fleeing in a helicopter who mistake it for something far more sinister. When the crooks' escape route crosses paths with the airborne contest, Muggsy's humble cheese kite becomes an unlikely hero in this 1951 tale of mistaken identity and comedic chaos.
