Ms. Marvel #33
In "Secret Agent Danvers Part 2: Vitamin," a young Carol Danvers—before she became Ms. Marvel—finds herself entangled in a deadly conspiracy after surviving Taliban captivity. Working with Air Force special ops agent Michael Rossi, she uncovers troubling links between the C.I.A. and terrorists, leading to a brutal ambush that leaves both of them presumed dead. Now, in the present, Carol confronts Rick Mason at Rossi’s grave—only to be stunned when Rossi himself appears, alive and unharmed. Written by Brian Reed and illustrated by Adriana Melo, with inks by Mariah Benes, colors by Chris Sotomayor, and letters by Dave Sharpe, the issue’s cover by David Yardin captures the tension of a secret past resurfacing.
