Mark Millar and Duncan Fegredo's street-level superhero series hits its third issue with a cover that says it all — four hoodie-clad figures sprint away laden with duffel bags while hundred-dollar bills swirl chaotically around them, the whole scene framed by the white speed-trail rings of people moving impossibly fast. Fegredo's bird's-eye composition gives the image a kinetic, almost vertiginous energy that perfectly captures the thrill and recklessness at the heart of MPH. If you've been following this Image series, issue three looks like the stakes — and the speeds — are only going up.
