“The Texas Rangers”

This issue adapts the Columbia film "The Texas Rangers," an Edward Small production in Supercincolor starring George Montgomery and Gale Storm. Two former outlaws are recruited by the Texas Rangers to help stop the Sam Bass gang; they are sworn in on the Bible and tasked with locating an unguarded path into Bass's territory. The Rangers plan a surprise attack, involving a gold train robbery near Belton and the derailment of a passenger train carrying money, culminating in a confrontation where the protagonists work to thwart the criminals' schemes and protect the state.
