This volume collects issues #7–12 of the 2015 Mortal Kombat X series from DC, continuing the story set between the events of the Mortal Kombat X game. The narrative follows the new generation of kombatants, including Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs, as they face the resurrected threat of the Blood Gods, led by the malevolent Kotal Kahn. Written by Shawn Kittelsen with art by Dexter Soy, Igor Vitorino, and others, the arc delves into the political struggles of Outworld and the dark powers that seek to control it.
