The fifth chapter of Moriarty: The Lazarus Tree closes in with a genuinely unsettling image — a human figure entangled in dark, skeletal roots, loomed over by a massive skull-like form that seems to grow from the twisted branches above. The fiery orange background bleeds through the gnarled wood, giving the whole composition a hellish, suffocating atmosphere that perfectly suits a series built around one of fiction's great villains.
