This third chapter of Image's Moriarty: The Dark Chamber delivers a striking cover by Anthony Diecidue, rendered in smoldering reds and oranges that give the whole scene an almost hellish atmosphere. A gaunt, dark-clad swordsman and a whip-wielding woman in combat gear grip a heavy chain together above a massive, bolted deep-sea diving suit that looms ominously in the foreground. It's a wonderfully atmospheric image that captures the steampunk-tinged, pulpy energy that has made this 2011 series such an intriguing reimagining of one of literature's most celebrated villains.
