Moon Knight looms in stark white and black on this 2017 Marvel collection, his masked face caught in a striking, almost cinematic moment as a film clapperboard — marked "Steven Grant" — is snapped in front of him by an unseen hand. The clapperboard detail hints perfectly at the fractured-identity territory Jeff Lemire explores across stories illustrated by Francesco Francavilla and James Stokoe, each bringing their own distinct visual voice to Marc Spector's fragmented psyche. Greg Smallwood's clean, graphic cover design sets an appropriately mysterious tone for this Reincarnations volume.
