After a confrontation, Monte takes one of the criminals to jail, then stakes out a hotel where the gang's leader, Harry Archer, is hiding. When Archer attempts to crack open the hotel safe to retrieve cash, Monte intervenes in the resulting gunfight. The issue also includes a "Seery" humor story featuring a character who speaks in riddles about horses, and a Dubble Bubble Gum advertisement.
