Monte Hale Western #52

Monte and Jim Vault race to stop guards at a lake from wrecking a pipeline, but encounter skunk-riding villains who use dynamite to sabotage the ditch and pipeline with boulders. The saboteurs are revealed to be working for a mysterious masked figure opposed to a group called the Old Caballeros. Monte pursues the masked villain, discovering it is actually a supernatural demon-like creature known as Tlaloc from Mexico, who has been summoned and wounded in the conflict before being defeated.
