Monsters Unleashed #8

Part of Marvel's Legacy initiative, Monsters Unleashed #8 brings Cullen Bunn's kaiju-fueled series to a fever pitch as the cover — illustrated by R. B. Silva — teases a terrifying new threat announced in the banner: "And Lo There Came… A Poison!" Dominating the image is the massive, fire-breathing Fin Fang Foom, his teal scales and glowing pink eyes looming over a chaotic tangle of smaller monsters — winged, clawed, and armored creatures locked in a frantic clash — while a crackling, shadowy figure lurks ominously in the upper right. With Andrea Broccardo on interior art and colors by Chris Sotomayor, this issue looks like one of 2018's most visually exhilarating monster brawls Marvel had to offer.
