When Ezra dreams up a scheme to impress Myrna by claiming he'll take the mysterious radio songstress to the school dance, he sets off a comedy of errors involving his pal Rollo, the girl-chasing Dean Dilsbury Jr., and a promise he can't possibly keep. As the boys scheme and swap dates in their scramble for the evening's hottest ticket, they're about to discover that the Mystery Songstress's true identity might be closer to home than anyone expected.
