☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBlackhawk stands front and center on this bold January 1948 cover — hands on hips, blue military uniform crisp, his hawk emblem and a giant bird's-eye motif filling the yellow circle behind him — every inch the confident aviator-hero. Reed Crandall's cover art gives the figure a striking, almost poster-like presence against that vivid red background, with the promise of "Murder from the Clouds" lending the whole image a satisfying sense of aerial intrigue. A fine example of Quality Comics at the height of its run, with Mike Senich handling the interior story duties throughout.
