Modern Comics #69

Modern Comics #69 features two main stories. "Blackhawk Battles Murder from the Clouds" depicts the Blackhawk team confronting a threat descending from above. "Torch" follows a young man at a library who becomes fascinated by a hypnotism book and subsequently encounters Miss La Moe, a woman involved in mysterious circumstances at Bleak Towers; after a series of strange events including knife-throwing and unusual characters, Miss La Moe is revealed to be brave and resourceful, ultimately receiving a reward of two hundred dollars for her actions.
