Mister Miracle #25

Mister Miracle finds himself in a desperate bind in this September 1978 DC issue, as a fierce woman in purple grabs him by the collar against a fiery, cave-like backdrop — taunting him with the chilling words "I'm the trap you cannot escape!" Lurking in the shadows above is a wild-haired figure, completing a three-way threat that perfectly teases the story's ominous title, "Doom Unto Others...!" The cover, penciled and inked by Russ Heath with additional pencils by Al Milgrom, delivers a tense, kinetic scene that makes it genuinely hard to set this one down without reading it.
