The second chapter of this four-part Image series arrives with a cover that sets a striking tone: a young woman floats defiantly down a shadowy urban alley, arms outstretched, as swirling spectral figures press in on every side with an eerie, sketch-like energy. The tension between her calm, luminous presence and the churning supernatural crowd around her makes for a genuinely compelling image. With two issues still to go, Misery is shaping up as one of 2024's more intriguing limited series to watch.
