Millie the Model Comics #82
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDan DeCarlo's cover for this January 1958 issue perfectly captures Millie the Model's cheerful romantic comedy charm: the blonde Millie in her striking red dress strolls hand-in-hand with her red-haired beau Clicker, the two exchanging affectionate banter — "We get along so well, Clicker, because we have the same interests!" — while the scene around them cleverly splits between a Paris Fashions boutique on one side and a Sporting Goods display on the other. It's a witty visual joke that says everything about this couple's supposedly "shared" tastes. At just 10 cents, this Stan Lee–written issue offers the kind of lighthearted, well-crafted fun that made Millie the Model a genuinely enjoyable corner of 1958 Marvel Comics.
