In Millie the Model Comics #70, a 1956 10-cent classic, Millie, Chili, Clicker, and Mr. Hanover find themselves stranded in "commie territory" after a plane crash—only to be greeted by Red Army comrades with a surprisingly unorthodox welcome. Written by Stan Lee and illustrated by Dan DeCarlo, this lighthearted adventure unfolds with playful absurdity as the Soviet allies insist on defecting to America, not for freedom or democracy, but because they’ve decided American women are far more appealing. The cover by Dan DeCarlo captures the comic’s cheeky tone, a hallmark of the era’s pop satire.

Millie, Chili, Clicker & Mr. Hanover are in a plane that goes down in "commie territory" and encounter comrades in the red army ("Greetings, capitalist swine!)." Hijinks ensue as the commies insist on defecting to America, not because they want to live in a democracy as Millie thinks, but because they realize that the American women are much hotter than their woman (who all look vaguely like Snuffy Smith's wife).
