Marvel's perennially charming "Blonde Bombshell" is in fine form on this 1961 cover by Stan Goldberg, which finds Millie seated at her vanity mirror, phone in hand, delivering the delightfully self-aware quip: "I'm sorry, sir! I just couldn't write my life story for your magazine! I'm much too modest!" Surrounding her are cheerful mock advertisements spotlighting Millie-branded bath salts, gowns, lipstick, and hats — a playful nod to the glamorous world she inhabits.
