“Quiiiiiet, Please!”

Marvel's long-running fashion comedy series delivers another breezy installment with this December 1973 issue, cover-penciled and inked by Stan Goldberg and John Verpoorten. The cover catches Millie — blonde, miniskirted, and carrying a red handbag — striding confidently past a Motor Scooter Shop, where a smooth-talking salesman in a plaid suit asks if she'd like to take "the model" out for a spin, only for an enthusiastically grinning young man leaning on a yellow scooter to shout "You KNOW it!" The double meaning is pure Millie charm, and with Stan Lee writing and Stan Goldberg on art inside, fans of lighthearted Marvel humor are in very good company.
